Hi,

I'm a test lead in a software company. We want to us a bug tracking tool. most of us want to use Bugzilla. Now, before installation, I would like to know does bugzilla offer the choice of multiple projects in same installation. If bugzilla does support for this, please suggest some other good open source Bug Tracking Tool.

Regards,
Mohit

Hi Mohit,

Yes, you can use Bugzilla for multiple projects. Bugzilla has this functionality.

Also, my suggestion is you create multiple groups. You can create multiple groups using the Project Menu. Here you can define the rights for various groups.

For example, for some groups you may want read only access and for some other group you may want read and write access.

This is not necessary. But, it is a good practise to follow.

There is another good Bug Tracking Tool - Mantis. This is also an open source. We are using this in our company.

You can use either one.

Bugzilla Supports Multiple Projects....

Also You can Keep track of every project individually, by providing access rights to the users of different projects.
